The OUNA Okpe-Wado Convention 2026 stands as a remarkable celebration of unity, culture, and progress among Okpe people across the diaspora. Bringing together members, leaders, families, and friends, the convention serves as a platform to strengthen relationships, preserve our heritage, and inspire collective growth for future generations.
This year’s convention highlights the enduring values of the Okpe nation—community, service, and cultural pride. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions, networking sessions, cultural exhibitions, and social activities designed to foster collaboration and deepen connections among members.
The convention also provides a unique opportunity to reflect on the achievements of the past year while exploring new initiatives that will advance the goals of OUNA and the wider Okpe community. Through leadership forums, youth engagement programs, and cultural presentations, participants will gain valuable insights into the role each individual can play in promoting unity and development.
A key feature of the convention is the celebration of Okpe heritage. Traditional music, dance, attire, and storytelling will showcase the richness of our culture and ensure that our customs and values continue to thrive across generations.
We reaffirm our commitment to preserving our identity, supporting one another, and building a stronger future together. This convention is more than an event—it is a testament to the strength, resilience, and shared vision of the Okpe people.
Together, we celebrate our past, embrace the present, and look forward to a brighter future for the Okpe nation.
